Seeking a talented and passionate bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC certification for a full-time contract opportunity in an educational setting near Cibolo, TX. This engaging role offers the chance to make a significant impact by providing essential speech and language services to diverse student populations. The assignment spans the 2026-2027 school year, beginning August 3, 2026 and concluding May 28, 2027, with a weekly commitment of 37.5 hours.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Bilingual proficiency; able to deliver services in both English and another language
- Valid state license to practice as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
- Comfortable working full time across a school calendar schedule
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Prior experience in a school setting preferred
- Ability to supervise or mentor support staff as needed
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders for school-aged children
- Deliver direct and indirect therapy services to a culturally and linguistically diverse caseload
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in eligibility and review meetings
- Provide supervision and support for related personnel as required
- Support school-wide initiatives for communication development
