Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Experience with school-aged children or pediatric populations strongly preferred
- Solid understanding of IEP development, progress monitoring, and compliance within a school setting
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to suit a variety of student needs and abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy to students across two vibrant campuses within the Roosevelt Cluster
- Assess, diagnose, and treat a broad range of speech, language, and communication challenges
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with staff and families
- Maintain thorough documentation, tracking progress and updating goals as needed
- Consult and collaborate with classroom teachers, special education teams, and other professionals
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to support each student's academic and functional success
This full-time (32 hours per week) position offers the stability of a consistent schedule while allowing you to make a significant impact within a passionate educational community. All therapy and services are provided on-site, ensuring direct engagement with students and staff.
