Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active SLP licensure for Texas (or eligible to obtain)
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting is preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with students, families, and staff
  • Sound knowledge of IEP processes and documentation

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders in school-aged children
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other staff to support student achievement
  • Maintain accurate records and progress reports as required by state and school policies
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
