A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist is needed for the 2025-2026 school year to support students from PreK through 8th grade within a school setting located in Cicero, IL. This contract role offers a rewarding opportunity to work with a diverse caseload while providing critical speech and language services tailored to student needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized speech-language therapy to students in PreK to 8th grade
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Maintain detailed documentation of student progress and therapy sessions
  • Participate in meetings with parents and multidisciplinary teams as needed

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Illinois Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license
  • Professional Educator License (PEL) required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA mandatory
  • Experience working as an SLP in educational or healthcare settings, preferably with pediatric populations
  • Ability to manage a caseload effectively and communicate well with students, families, and staff
