This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist position supports early childhood through K-12 students in a dynamic school environment located in Cicero, IL. The role offers a contract for the current school year, with some flexibility for part-time candidates. This onsite position requires engaging directly with students to provide comprehensive speech and language services.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Valid SLP certification with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
  • Experience working in school settings, including K-12 and early childhood
  • Completion or active status of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred
  • Familiarity with healthcare and educational speech-language pathology practices
  • Ability to collaborate with educators and families to support student communication development
  • Must be able to provide services independently; no Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) will be utilized

Location:

  • Cicero, Illinois
  • Serve students from early childhood through 12th grade in a school setting

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Deliver therapy sessions tailored to each student's communication needs
  • Monitor and document student progress according to school and state guidelines
  • Participate in team meetings and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals
  • Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with regulatory standards
