School Speech Language Pathologist - Cicero, Illinois

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
• Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or ability to obtain before start date)
• Experience working in early childhood or school-based settings preferred
• Ability to perform assessments, develop IEPs, and track student progress
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Commitment to working onsite (remote/SLPAS not considered for this position)

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech-language and communication assessments for early childhood students
• Develop and implement evidence-based therapy plans individualized for student needs
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to IEP development
• Maintain proper documentation and compliance with school and legal guidelines
• Foster a supportive, engaging learning environment for students
