Key qualifications and experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Valid SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Familiarity with K-12 environments, including self-contained SPED programs
  • Experience serving pediatric populations, ideally within schools or through teletherapy
  • Competence in assessment, intervention, and documentation practices
  • Effective collaborative and communication skills, working closely with special education staff and families

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized therapy plans
  • Deliver direct speech and language services for a caseload of 18 students, modifying approaches as needed
  • Collaborate with IEP teams and families to support students’ academic and communicative growth
  • Utilize a range of service delivery models, including teletherapy when appropriate
  • Track progress, maintain meticulous records, and contribute to ongoing program development
  • Provide training and consultation to educators and caregivers
