Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Current SLP-CCC certification
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Ability to effectively assess and support elementary-aged students
- Bilingual in Spanish is a significant plus, but not mandatory
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Valid licensure for practice in the state
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide direct therapy for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and participate in IEP meetings
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and other support staff to foster positive student outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and services delivered
- Offer consultative support and training to educational staff as needed
- Contribute to an inclusive, encouraging, and innovative school environment
