Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current and valid SLP-CCC certification
  • Previous experience working in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to provide direct and consultative therapy and contribute to IEPs
  • Organizational comfort in managing small caseloads and individualized attention
  • Commitment to fostering inclusive, supportive learning environments

Role Details:

  • Three contract opportunities available in nearby communities
    • Lake in the Hills: Serve 16 students, approx. 15 hours per week
    • Morton Grove: Support 9 students, 5–7 hours per week
    • Oak Lawn: Work with 29 students, about 15 hours weekly (up to 20)
  • Deliver speech and language therapy services on site
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and participate in team meetings
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary staff
  • Monitor and document student progress toward communication goals
  • Adapt intervention strategies to individual abilities and goals
  • Participate in school team meetings and contribute expertise to support IEP development
