Qualifications and Requirements:

• Current and valid PEL (Professional Educator License) required
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Previous experience providing speech services in a school setting, preferably at the high school level
• Strong understanding of IEP processes, progress monitoring, and best practices for adolescent communication disorders
• Excellent collaboration, documentation, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative speech and language therapy to high school students
• Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans
• Facilitate and participate in IEP meetings, working closely with families and teachers
• Maintain timely and accurate student records in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Provide strategies, resources, and ongoing support within the school environment
• Advocate for students by promoting inclusivity and communication access throughout the school day
