You will primarily work with upper elementary and middle school grades (5th-8th), with some involvement in K-4 as needed.

This is an on-site role, based near Cicero, IL, requiring a commitment of roughly 22 hours per week—ideal for those seeking a manageable, part-time schedule within a supportive educational setting. The position starts on August 17, 2026, and concludes on November 27, 2026, with new staff training details to be determined.

Qualifications and Experience Sought:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active SLP-CCC certification
  • Valid state licensure for clinical practice in school settings
  • Experience with school-based caseloads, preferably K-8
  • Strong skills in collaboration and communication with students, families, and staff
  • Commitment to in-person service delivery

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct therapy services to a caseload of 15-20 students
  • Develop and implement IEP goals for students with speech and language needs
  • Conduct progress monitoring, assessments, and documentation
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to facilitate student success
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to a positive school community
