Support students’ growth and communication success in a welcoming educational environment, working contractually as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This role is based near Cicero and Oak Forest, IL, serving a dynamic Pre-K through 12th grade population. Step into this position as soon as possible and make a difference daily through the end of the school year, concluding May 27, 2027.
You’ll enjoy steady hours, working Monday through Friday from 8:15 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., for a total of 35 hours per week. Here, your expertise will help students thrive both academically and socially. You’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with educators, families, and fellow support professionals for student-centered outcomes.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active state licensure and ability to work as an SLP in Illinois schools
- Experience (or strong interest) in working with Pre-K through 12th grade students
- Proficiency in assessment, treatment planning, and therapy implementation
- Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate speech, language, and communication needs and develop individualized plans for students
- Provide direct intervention and therapy, adapting techniques for a range of ages and needs
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and support teams to promote student progress
- Monitor, document, and report on student outcomes per school and regulatory guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional expertise to student support strategies
