Ideal candidates hold their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and bring experience with school-based and teletherapy speech-language services. You'll collaborate closely with teachers, special education professionals, and families to develop and implement individualized plans.
Key Qualifications:
- Current SLP-CCC required
- Experience providing speech therapy in school settings
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and best practices
- Knowledge of IEP development, documentation, and progress monitoring
- Ability to work effectively with both special education and general education students
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language services to middle school students (grades 6-8)
- Implement IEPs and participate in meetings as needed
- Deliver assessments and adjust interventions based on student needs
- Work with a caseload that includes both IEP and non-IEP (speech-only) students
- Maintain thorough records in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Consult with staff and parents to support students’ progress
