School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Cicero, Illinois

Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting middle school students in a part-time speech-language pathologist role for the upcoming school year. This position centers on grades 6 through 8, focusing on both individual and group speech services. With a schedule ranging from 0.4 to 2 days per week, you have flexibility while making a lasting impact.

Ideal candidates hold their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and bring experience with school-based and teletherapy speech-language services. You'll collaborate closely with teachers, special education professionals, and families to develop and implement individualized plans.

Key Qualifications:

• Current SLP-CCC required
• Experience providing speech therapy in school settings
• Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and best practices
• Knowledge of IEP development, documentation, and progress monitoring
• Ability to work effectively with both special education and general education students

Responsibilities:

• Provide speech-language services to middle school students (grades 6-8)
• Implement IEPs and participate in meetings as needed
• Deliver assessments and adjust interventions based on student needs
• Work with a caseload that includes both IEP and non-IEP (speech-only) students
• Maintain thorough records in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Consult with staff and parents to support students’ progress
