Embark on a rewarding contract assignment supporting young learners from October through March in a vibrant school environment near Cicero, IL. This full-time opportunity is ideal for speech-language pathologists eager to make a meaningful difference with a Pre K caseload.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Valid state license to practice as an SLP
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Experience working in schools, particularly with early childhood or Pre K populations, strongly preferred
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities
  • Ability to collaborate with educators, support staff, and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech-language assessments and create individualized treatment plans for Pre K students
  • Deliver direct therapy services, individually or in small groups, adapting strategies to meet each child’s needs
  • Consult with teachers, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student progress
  • Maintain documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and regulatory requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals
  • Foster a positive, supportive learning environment encouraging communication growth
