Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Prior experience working in school-based or pediatric settings
- Experience with teletherapy platforms strongly preferred
- Ability to provide both in-person and virtual SLP services as needed
- Familiarity with collaborating with occupational therapy professionals
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
- Current state licensure to practice as an SLP
- Compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach to therapy in diverse learning environments
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based speech therapy services to a student in a home setting
- Collaborate with an occupational therapist to create multidisciplinary, tailored interventions
- Conduct thorough assessments to develop individualized therapy goals
- Utilize both in-person and teletherapy methods, adapting strategies to suit the student’s needs
- Maintain clear documentation of student progress and attendance
- Communicate regularly with the family, educators, and other service providers to ensure coordinated care
- Adjust therapy plans as the student’s goals and abilities evolve
- Uphold privacy, confidentiality, and ethical standards of practice
