Make a meaningful impact by providing essential speech-language and occupational therapy services to a student receiving in-home instruction. This unique contract position allows you to work closely with one student, fostering a supportive and personalized learning environment.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Prior experience working in school-based or pediatric settings
  • Experience with teletherapy platforms strongly preferred
  • Ability to provide both in-person and virtual SLP services as needed
  • Familiarity with collaborating with occupational therapy professionals
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills
  • Current state licensure to practice as an SLP
  • Compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach to therapy in diverse learning environments

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver evidence-based speech therapy services to a student in a home setting
  • Collaborate with an occupational therapist to create multidisciplinary, tailored interventions
  • Conduct thorough assessments to develop individualized therapy goals
  • Utilize both in-person and teletherapy methods, adapting strategies to suit the student’s needs
  • Maintain clear documentation of student progress and attendance
  • Communicate regularly with the family, educators, and other service providers to ensure coordinated care
  • Adjust therapy plans as the student’s goals and abilities evolve
  • Uphold privacy, confidentiality, and ethical standards of practice
