Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Active state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
  • Previous experience in school settings strongly preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with students, families, and staff
  • Proficient in developing and implementing IEPs
  • Familiarity with a range of therapeutic strategies and assistive technologies

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
  • Develop individualized intervention plans and track student progress
  • Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings, contributing specialized knowledge
  • Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and parents to support student growth
  • Maintain detailed records in compliance with federal and state regulations
