Key Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field
  • Current, active SLP-CCC certification
  • Licensure to practice as an SLP in Minnesota (or eligibility to obtain)
  • School-based experience strongly preferred
  • Skilled in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech/language disorders
  • Collaborative mindset and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage caseloads effectively and document progress

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language needs
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans for students
  • Provide direct intervention services both individually and in small groups
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to align therapy with educational goals
  • Maintain detailed and timely records of student services and progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings to advocate for students’ language needs
  • Adapt therapy techniques to diverse learning environments and student backgrounds
