Key Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) required
- Previous experience working with K-12 students strongly preferred
- Familiarity with school-based therapy models and IEP development
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Compassionate and creative approach to supporting student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate students with speech and language disorders across grade levels
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Provide direct therapy services and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to optimize student outcomes
- Guide and supervise SLPAs in delivering targeted interventions
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
