Qualifications and Experience:
- Current SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Experience working in schools or with pediatric populations preferred
- Ability to collaborate effectively with SLPAs, teachers, families, and school staff
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to fostering student growth and progress
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to a diverse K-12 student population
- Evaluate, diagnose, and document communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Supervise and mentor SLPAs assisting with the caseload
- Maintain progress records and contribute to IEP meetings as needed
- Communicate with families and educational staff to support student learning goals
