Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations for students with speech and language disorders to determine individual needs
  • Develop and implement customized treatment plans focused on each student's speech and language goals
  • Provide direct therapy sessions in accordance with IEP requirements and best practices
  • Maintain clear, detailed documentation to track interventions and measurable progress
  • Collaborate closely with educators, support staff, and fellow specialists to ensure continuity of care
  • Involve families in the therapy process and equip them with tools to support progress at home

Essential Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Active or eligible for state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Prior experience with pediatric or school-based populations is advantageous
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Adept at working both independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Authorization from the State Board of Speech Language Pathology in the respective state
