School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Citrus Heights, California

This contract role is part-time at 0.6 FTE, offering flexibility while allowing you to participate fully in a school-based environment. Work closely with a collaborative special education team, where your skills and expertise will help students reach their communication milestones.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Hold an active California SLP license
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) are welcome to apply
• Previous school-based SLP experience is beneficial
• Strong collaborative and communication skills

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and provide speech and language therapy for a diverse caseload (details provided during interview)
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to create and implement effective Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Document progress, maintain thorough records, and deliver recommendations tailored to each student’s needs
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support comprehensive student care throughout the school year
