A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the upcoming full school year in Clallam Bay and Forks, WA. This in-person position focuses primarily on supporting preschool and elementary students, with occasional work involving middle and high school students. This contract role offers the chance to contribute to student development in a school environment committed to fostering communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students across preschool through high school levels.
  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to implement effective interventions.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans accordingly.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Experience working with diverse age groups, particularly preschool and elementary students.
  • Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders and therapy techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in-person and engage collaboratively with school staff and families.

Location:

  • In-person role based in Clallam Bay and Forks, Washington.
