Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Clarion, IA

Your background should include strong knowledge and competency in speech therapy for children, ideally in educational or healthcare-related environments. Whether you’ve earned your Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or are completing your Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), your passion and expertise will be highly valued in this role.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current SLP license in Iowa, or the ability to obtain one promptly
• SLP-CCC or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship (CFY)
• Prior experience in pediatric speech therapy, preferably within a school or healthcare context
• Comfort with teletherapy platforms and providing remote services as needed
• Engaging communication abilities with students, families, and school staff
• Strong organizational and time management skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments, develop and implement individualized therapy plans for students with communication and language disorders
• Deliver direct therapy sessions onsite and via teletherapy as assigned
• Collaborate with special education teams, teachers, and families to support student progress
• Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, and student progress notes
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
• Attend professional development sessions to stay current with best practices
