Make a difference in the lives of students by delivering essential speech therapy services within a supportive elementary school environment. This contract opportunity offers you the chance to work closely with K–5 students in ASD and Severe/Profound classrooms, helping them meet communication milestones that are vital to their academic and personal growth. Both full-time (up to 37.5 hours per week) and part-time schedules are considered, with assignments starting as soon as possible through the end of the school year, with potential extension into the 2025–2026 academic year.

Key Qualifications:

  • Hold an active Georgia SLP license
  • Possess a current Georgia Educator Certificate
  • Open to Clinical Fellows; mentorship available
  • School-based experience or strong interest in educational settings
  • Experience supporting ASD and/or severe/profound student populations is a plus
  • Onsite presence is required

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy and interventions for K–5 students in specialized classrooms
  • Contribute meaningfully to IEP meetings and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Engage in progress monitoring and maintain detailed student data
  • Complete necessary Medicaid billing documentation
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student success
