Speech Language Pathologist in Clarkesville, GA

Step into an engaging school-based opportunity supporting students with communication needs in Habersham, GA. This contract role invites a passionate speech-language pathologist (SLP) to work onsite with K–5 students in ASD and Severe/Profound classrooms. The position runs ASAP through the end of the current school year, with the potential to stay for the 2025–2026 school year. Flexible scheduling is available, with both full-time (up to 37.5 hours/week) and part-time options considered.

Qualifications:

• Active Georgia SLP licensure required
• Possess a Georgia Educator Certificate
• Open to both experienced clinicians and clinical fellows (CFs)
• School-based SLP experience strongly preferred
• Experience supporting students with ASD or severe/profound needs is a plus
• Able to commit to onsite service delivery—remote candidates cannot be considered
• Reliable transportation

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students in K–5 ASD and Severe/Profound classrooms
• Conduct evaluations, contribute to IEP meetings, and monitor student progress
• Complete Medicaid billing and required documentation in a timely manner
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to foster student growth
• Maintain clear, compassionate communication with caregivers and staff
