Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
- Experience working with early childhood populations, especially in schools, strongly preferred
- Strong organizational skills to manage a caseload of around 130 evaluations
- Confidence conducting assessments and supporting diverse learners
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations for early childhood (ages 4–5) in accordance with federal, state, and district guidelines
- Maintain accurate documentation and timely reporting for all evaluations performed
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication goals
- Provide expertise and recommendations in IEP meetings as needed
- Employ evidence-based practices to inform assessments and recommendations
