Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Valid state licensure (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
  • Experience working with early childhood populations, especially in schools, strongly preferred
  • Strong organizational skills to manage a caseload of around 130 evaluations
  • Confidence conducting assessments and supporting diverse learners

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations for early childhood (ages 4–5) in accordance with federal, state, and district guidelines
  • Maintain accurate documentation and timely reporting for all evaluations performed
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication goals
  • Provide expertise and recommendations in IEP meetings as needed
  • Employ evidence-based practices to inform assessments and recommendations
