This opportunity begins in late August and continues through early December, with a strong potential to extend through the school year. Serving a diverse caseload, you'll partner with teachers, families, and other professionals to enhance student success across school settings.
What We’re Looking For:
- Current or eligible Pennsylvania licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; strong Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcomed
- Experience working with pediatric or K-12 populations, in schools or healthcare
- Ability to evaluate, diagnose, and treat a range of speech and language disorders
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Collaborative mindset and an enthusiasm for working with multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ speech, language, voice, fluency, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in coordination with school staff and families
- Deliver therapy services using evidence-based interventions
- Monitor student progress and maintain thorough, compliant documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support teams
- Consult with teachers and provide training/support for classroom strategies
- Communicate regularly with families about student goals and growth
