Speech Language Pathologist in Clarksburg, MD

A contract opportunity is available serving multiple elementary schools near Clarksburg, MD, where you’ll collaborate with educators and families to provide essential speech and language services for a caseload of 35-45 students.

This full-time position runs from October 1 through June 4, with hours from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, making it ideal for professionals committed to influencing young learners’ academic and social success across several school sites.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Hold a valid Speech-Language Pathology license in Maryland
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (ASHA CCC) required
• Previous school-based SLP experience is a plus but not required
• Capable of managing a diverse caseload and adapting to varying student needs
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate students’ speech and language abilities
• Develop tailored treatment plans and deliver direct therapy services
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, and caregivers to support student goals
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation for student progress and compliance
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team-based support strategies
• Travel between multiple elementary school locations as needed
