Make a meaningful impact supporting elementary students across several schools as a Speech-Language Pathologist this academic year. This contract position runs from October 1 through June 4, offering a rewarding opportunity to work in diverse educational settings with a manageable caseload of 35-45 students.

You’ll enjoy full-time hours (8:00 am–3:00 pm), allowing for consistent routines and close collaboration with teams across multiple elementary sites. This is an ideal role for professionals who thrive on variety, innovation, and fostering communication skills in young learners.

What we’re looking for:

  • Valid Maryland SLP license
  • CCC from ASHA
  • Experience or comfort working in elementary school settings
  • Passion for supporting the communication needs of diverse student populations
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to adapt across various campus environments
  • Commitment to collaborative team practices and open communication with staff, students, and families

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language services to students, both individually and in small groups
  • Conduct thorough evaluations and develop/implement IEP goals
  • Consult regularly with teachers, families, and other specialists
  • Maintain detailed records and progress reports
  • Travel between multiple elementary sites, as assigned
  • Attend and contribute to IEP meetings and team discussions
  • Foster a supportive, inclusive climate for all students
