A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a school setting located in Clarkston, MI, with an immediate start date. This contract role offers approximately 21 hours per week, serving students from kindergarten through 2nd grade. The assignment is expected to continue until June 15, 2026, with the potential to return for the following fall semester.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language therapy services to a caseload of 30-40 students.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students’ communication needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress.
• Monitor and document student progress and adjust therapy goals as needed.
• Participate in meetings and provide input for individualized education plans (IEPs).

Qualifications:

• Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) certification (SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY preferred).
• Experience working in a school-based setting.
• Knowledge of age-appropriate speech and language development for K-2 students.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with students, families, and educators.
• Ability to manage a caseload of 30-40 students efficiently.
