Step into a vital role supporting students during a 12-week maternity leave! This full-time, contract opportunity offers Speech-Language Pathologists a rewarding experience working in a local school setting beginning in November and continuing through February. As an SLP, you’ll contribute to the academic and social growth of students by providing expert speech therapy services.

Qualifications we’re seeking:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current SLP-CCC certification (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Experience providing services in a school setting is strongly preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and support staff

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Conducting assessments and evaluations to determine students’ speech and language needs
  • Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student
  • Providing direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings
  • Monitoring progress and adapting interventions for optimal student outcomes
  • Supporting teachers and staff with strategies to facilitate communication in the classroom
  • Maintaining student records and complying with all documentation and program requirements
