As an SLPA, you’ll contribute to IEPs, participate in meetings, work alongside a dedicated multidisciplinary team, and support the planning and implementation of treatment and evaluations. Key Qualifications:
- Completion of SLPA program or equivalent credentialing
- Active or pending Arkansas license, or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Passion for pediatrics and school-based services
- Previous experience in a school environment preferred, but not required
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
Role Responsibilities:
- Assist the SLP with conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and documenting student progress
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute to goal planning and reporting
- Communicate regularly with teachers, families, and related service providers
- Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and outcomes
- Support students with a variety of speech and language needs in individual and group settings
