Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in North Carolina
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellow Year (CFY)
  • Prior experience delivering pediatric and school-based SLP services preferred
  • Strong ability to address the unique needs of elementary and middle school-aged children
  • Familiarity with the ECATS system (or willingness to learn)
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy in alignment with IEP requirements
  • Manage a caseload averaging 30 students, primarily in elementary and middle school
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans targeting communication and language goals
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation using the ECATS system
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
  • Use provided therapy materials and resources to achieve optimal outcomes
  • Participate in team meetings and IEP reviews as needed
