K-5 School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Clearwater, Florida

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Previous experience providing therapy to children in educational or clinical settings
• Strong knowledge of IEP processes and compliance best practices
• Skillful in conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and tracking progress
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech, language, and communication evaluations for students in grades K–5
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and IEP goals
• Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in small groups
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and legal standards
• Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with families and school staff to support student growth
• Offer guidance and resources to teachers and caregivers to enhance students’ communication at school and home
