Step into an engaging contract opportunity supporting students for the 2026-27 school year as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist. This role focuses on helping students reach their communication goals within a school setting, utilizing your expertise as an SLP with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence).

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current and valid SLP-CCC credential
  • Licensure (or eligibility) to practice in North Carolina
  • Previous experience in a school-based environment strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to design and implement effective interventions for a broad range of student needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and screen students’ speech, language, and communication abilities
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) based on evaluation results and student needs
  • Deliver direct therapy services, both in groups and individually, in accordance with IEP goals
  • Maintain detailed records of student progress and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Consult and collaborate with general education teachers, special education staff, and families to support student learning
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to educational planning
