Step into an engaging contract opportunity supporting students for the 2026-27 school year as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist. This role focuses on helping students reach their communication goals within a school setting, utilizing your expertise as an SLP with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence).
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current and valid SLP-CCC credential
- Licensure (or eligibility) to practice in North Carolina
- Previous experience in a school-based environment strongly preferred
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to design and implement effective interventions for a broad range of student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and screen students’ speech, language, and communication abilities
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) based on evaluation results and student needs
- Deliver direct therapy services, both in groups and individually, in accordance with IEP goals
- Maintain detailed records of student progress and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Consult and collaborate with general education teachers, special education staff, and families to support student learning
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to educational planning
