Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP - CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) from ASHA
- Current state license or the ability to obtain one before starting
- Prior school-based experience is highly valued, but strong clinical SLP backgrounds will be considered
- Solid communication, organization, and interpersonal abilities
- Passion for supporting students with diverse speech and language needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify individual student needs
- Develop, implement, and update IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Provide tailored, evidence-based speech and language therapy to help students achieve their communication goals
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with federal and state guidelines
- Educate and support teachers and families to reinforce therapy strategies in the classroom and at home
- Participate in IEP meetings, team conferences, and professional development activities
