Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Hold current licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist in North Carolina.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or CFY status welcomed.
  • Familiarity with school-based service delivery and IEP processes is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and documentation skills.
  • Compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach to working with students, families, and staff.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students across grade levels.
  • Develop and implement effective IEPs in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Deliver targeted, evidence-based therapy interventions in individual and small group settings.
  • Maintain clear and timely records of student progress, therapy sessions, and required reporting.
  • Serve as a resource for classroom teachers and provide staff training when needed.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and collaborative planning sessions.
