This role invites you to partner with a dedicated special education team in a warm, collaborative school environment while delivering critical speech and language services.
Preferred qualifications and experience:
- Current or eligibility for state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Possession of or eligibility for the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is desired
- Open to Clinical Fellows (CFY) seeking valuable experience and supervision
- Strong understanding of individualized education plan (IEP) processes
- Ability to deliver therapy services both individually and in small groups
- Compassionate, patient, and committed to student growth
- Excellent communication skills with students, staff, and families
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement effective, evidence-based intervention plans
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports for all services provided
- Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating closely with educators and parents
- Provide consultative support to classroom teachers for speech and language strategies
- Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment where all students feel supported
