Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active SLP licensure (GA) and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
  • Previous experience serving pediatric or K-12 populations preferred
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and intervention skills across speech and language areas
  • Ability to work effectively with a multi-disciplinary team, families, and school staff
  • Excellent communication, organization, and documentation abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy tailored to individual student needs
  • Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations to determine eligibility and track progress
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in accordance with state and federal guidelines
  • Collaborate regularly with teachers, support staff, and parents to support student success
  • Maintain accurate and timely records, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Offer guidance and support to teachers for classroom-based strategies
