Licensed Speech-Language Pathologists with their Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) are invited to make a difference in the lives of preschool and elementary students for the upcoming semester.
You’ll have the opportunity to arrange your coverage days at specific schools, providing both evaluation and therapeutic support as outlined below:
Key Responsibilities:
- For the primary preschool role: 1 day dedicated to student evaluations and 3-4 days providing direct classroom-based speech/language therapy.
- Additional opportunity to offer therapy coverage for both preschool and elementary levels (therapy services only—no evaluation for this portion).
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective IEPs.
- Maintain appropriate documentation and progress notes in compliance with school standards.
- Support students in reaching their communication goals within inclusive educational environments.
What We’re Seeking:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and active SLP-CCC credential.
- Valid state licensure for Ohio in speech-language pathology.
- Experience working with preschool and/or elementary-aged children in school settings.
- Ability to manage caseloads, adapt to varied environments, and provide creative, evidence-based interventions.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- A flexible, collaborative mindset for arranging coverage and meeting diverse student needs.
- Availability to begin August 26, 2024, with contract through December 20th.
