Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state SLP license (or eligibility to obtain quickly)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Prior experience in a school setting or working with pediatric populations
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Adaptability and compassion in a diverse educational environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to identify students in need of speech and language services
- Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Deliver evidence-based therapy sessions, both individually and in small groups
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain thorough and timely records in compliance with state, federal, and district guidelines
- Participate in meetings, provide consultation, and offer support to educators and families
- Engage in ongoing professional learning and stay updated on best practices in the field
