Embark on a rewarding assignment supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist during a maternity leave coverage. This full-time position is scheduled Monday through Friday, from 8:40 am to 3:40 pm, starting September 22, 2026, through January 27, 2027. You'll be working with approximately 30 students ranging from Kindergarten through 5th Grade, providing both evaluation and intervention services in a supportive school environment. Ideal for those seeking hands-on experience in pediatrics or looking for a role that blends healthcare and educational collaboration.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) in progress
  • Experience in K-5 settings preferred
  • Familiarity with school-based SLP practices, IEP documentation, and collaborative teamwork
  • Proficiency in pediatric communication disorders and intervention techniques
  • Comfortable with in-person and teletherapy modalities
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload and tailor services to individual student needs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess speech, language, and communication skills of elementary-aged students
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans
  • Conduct both group and one-on-one sessions to address articulation, language, fluency, and other areas
  • Collaborate with educators, psychologists, and families to ensure coordinated care
  • Maintain accurate records and timely progress reports, contributing to IEP meetings
  • Utilize technology and teletherapy platforms when appropriate
