Key Qualifications:

  • Completion of a Master's or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current, active Florida SLP license
  • CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) considered
  • Strong background with pediatric patients and/or school-based settings is a plus
  • Proficiency in conducting assessments and developing treatment plans
  • Experience with AAC, PROMPT, and social communication therapy modalities preferred
  • Excellent communication, organization, and collaborative skills

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough speech and language assessments to determine student needs and areas for growth
  • Implement individualized treatment plans with evidence-based approaches
  • Deliver both one-on-one and group therapy to enhance articulation, comprehension, and communication
  • Work closely with educators, parents, and fellow healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students
  • Maintain clear, detailed records of therapy services, progress, and outcomes
  • Engage in ongoing learning through meetings, trainings, and workshops
