A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for an on-site contract role in the El Paso, TX area, serving students from PreK through 12th grade. This position offers the chance to make a significant impact by providing essential speech therapy services in schools that have experienced gaps in coverage.
Location: El Paso, TX (Lower Valley south of I-10 and Northeast of I-10)
Assignment Duration: ASAP through 6/12/2026
Work Hours: 37.5 hours per week (full days required; part-time considered with full days)
Settings: One or two schools, focusing on either High School (primary need) or K–8 (secondary need)
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology services to students with communication disorders, focusing primarily on high school students with extensive service gaps and large caseloads (up to 64, including backlog)
- Manage IEPs and communication services, catching up on missed sessions and maintaining compliance with special education requirements
- Provide direct therapy and conduct thorough documentation and cleanup of records
- Adapt to working in multiple school environments as needed
Qualifications:
- Current State Speech Language Pathologist licensure (images required prior to start)
- Experience working within school settings preferred, particularly with PreK–12 populations
- Ability to handle large caseloads efficiently and with high professional standards
- Bilingual skills are valued but not mandatory
