Your expertise as an SLP will be vital in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders. You'll collaborate with teachers, parents, and related service providers to design and implement tailored therapy plans that support student achievement and well-being.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid state license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Prior school-based SLP experience preferred
  • Ability to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and special education team dynamics

Role Responsibilities:

  • Assess students’ speech and language abilities, and provide direct and consultative therapy
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address communication and language needs
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support students’ IEPs
  • Document progress and maintain compliance with Medicaid and state guidelines
  • Offer guidance to teachers and parents for supporting students’ speech/language goals
  • Adapt therapy to virtual or in-person formats as needed
