Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Clinton, SC

Make a significant impact supporting students’ growth as a Speech-Language Pathologist with a local school-based contract opportunity. This flexible role offers both full-time and part-time options for the remainder of the school year, working with a motivated middle school caseload. You'll focus on providing essential speech and language services while collaborating with educators and families to help every student reach their communication goals.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid SLP license in South Carolina (or eligibility to obtain)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
• Previous experience working with school-aged children or adolescents is strongly preferred
• Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to thrive both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and diagnose students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs
• Deliver direct therapy services to middle school students, both individually and in groups
• Collect and interpret data to measure student progress and adjust interventions accordingly
• Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and support staff to promote optimal student outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with state and federal guidelines
