This contract opportunity spans the 2026–2027 academic year, with the potential for extended school year involvement in 2025–2026. With two available positions and a flexible, school-based weekly schedule (35 hours/week), you’ll provide crucial support and guidance to children across both elementary and middle school settings.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current and valid Michigan SLP license (active status required; please provide a screenshot of your license for verification)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Experience working in school settings with diverse student populations, ranging from preschool through high school
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage all responsibilities of a school-based SLP
  • Adaptable communication skills to connect with students, staff, and families
  • Comfortable servicing both individual students and groups

Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently deliver a full range of SLP services in collaboration with educational staff and families
  • Support students in developing communication, articulation, voice, fluency, and language skills to enhance academic and social success
  • Conduct assessments, develop individualized education program (IEP) goals, and document progress
  • Provide direct therapy, participate in IEP meetings, and consult as a valued member of the student support team
  • Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom atmosphere for all learners
