Step into an exciting opportunity as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist supporting elementary students in a vibrant school setting near the Mansfield area. Two full-time SLPs are needed for the upcoming academic year, offering the chance to positively impact young learners’ communication and language skills.
This contract position runs from August 17 to June 3, covering 37.5 hours each week. Working at one convenient location, schedules run from 7:30 am to 2:50 pm or 8:20 am to 3:50 pm, depending on your assigned site.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current SLP-CCC certification required
- Previous school-based experience desirable, though strong new grads are encouraged to apply
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with teachers, parents, and staff
- Solid organizational abilities and adaptability in a dynamic educational setting
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to elementary-aged students with diverse needs
- Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and implement data-driven interventions
- Collaborate regularly with teachers, family members, and educational team members
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Offer input during IEP meetings and help families understand the therapy process
- Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students
