Ideal candidates bring strong experience in schools, particularly those who hold an SLP-CCC and California credential, including a current Certificate of Clearance (COC). Previous experience with California Medicaid (Paradigm) documentation is highly valued.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and current CCC certification
- Valid California SLP licensure and Certificate of Clearance
- Experience with school-based caseloads, especially at the preschool level
- Comfortable managing a caseload encompassing mild, moderate, and some severe needs
- Knowledge of AAC devices and therapy interventions strongly preferred
- Familiarity with CA Medicaid (Paradigm) procedures is an advantage
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication therapy for preschool-aged students
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student outcomes
- Maintain accurate records and compliance with IEP processes
- Support students’ use of AAC devices in both classroom and therapeutic settings
