What You'll Bring:

  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Active Pennsylvania SLP Educator Certificate (requirement)
  • Prior experience with school-based caseloads or a strong interest in working with K-12 students
  • Willingness and ability to commute to multiple sites if needed (for multi-site position)
  • Excellent communication, organization, and collaborative skills

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services to elementary-aged students based on individualized education plans
  • Manage documentation, track progress, and contribute to IEP meetings
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams for student success
  • Travel between schools (for the floating SLP role) and adapt therapy approaches to diverse learning environments
  • Attend mandatory paid training sessions in August to support a smooth school year transition

A Snapshot of the Positions:

  • One SLP based at Washington Park Elementary serving approximately 50 students
  • One SLP covering Bethlehem-Center Elementary, Fort Cherry Elementary, and Waynesburg Campus—approximately one to two days per site per week
  • Both roles require availability for training August 13–14 (with an additional date of August 17 for the floater). The workday is generally 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM.
