A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is sought for a contract position in a school setting located in Coalinga, CA. This role focuses on providing specialized speech and language services to support student communication development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and regulatory guidelines
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings as required
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Experience working in school environments preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases effectively and provide tailored therapy
