Key Qualifications:
• Active Speech Language Pathology license
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
• Experience in school-based settings preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to design and implement individualized intervention plans
• Familiarity with assessment tools and IEP development
• Dedication to cultural sensitivity and student-centered practices
Role Responsibilities:
• Conduct evaluations to determine students’ speech and language needs
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Deliver direct therapy services to students, individually and in groups
• Consult with teachers, support staff, and families to build strategies for success
• Monitor progress, document outcomes, and adjust interventions based on data
• Attend IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
• Educate and empower families regarding students' communication development
• Maintain compliance with documentation, timelines, and departmental standards
