This full-time contract opportunity offers you the chance to support young learners across two elementary school sites, with a manageable caseload of approximately 50 students. As a valued member of the school's multidisciplinary team, you will help shape communication and language development, empowering students to reach their full potential.
Qualifications and Experience Desired:
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state SLP licensure or eligibility to obtain it prior to the start date
- Demonstrated experience providing speech and language therapy within a school setting (elementary school experience preferred)
- Proficiency in a variety of service delivery models, including in-person therapy
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Ability to adapt across two different school communities
Role and Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to elementary students across two school campuses
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and monitor progress
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and related service providers to ensure holistic student support
- Maintain thorough documentation and participate in IEP meetings as required
- Serve as a resource for staff and families on speech, language, and communication topics
- Foster a supportive, inclusive atmosphere for all students in your care
