Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Colchester, Vermont

This position offers a full-time opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support an elementary school caseload during a maternity leave from April 22, 2026, to June 15, 2026. The role is onsite in the Colchester, VT area, with work also connected to Burlington, VT. This contract position provides a valuable experience in school-based speech therapy.

Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language therapy services to elementary students.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders in a school setting.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student progress.
• Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student outcomes.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to individualized education planning.

Qualifications:

• Valid SLP certification with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence).
• Experience working in school settings with pediatric caseloads.
• Ability to manage a full elementary caseload independently.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Current licensure or eligibility to work in Vermont.
