School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Coldwater, Mississippi

Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students by serving as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract-based position is located near Coldwater, MS, and offers an opportunity to work closely with a diverse student population in a supportive educational setting.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Active state SLP licensure (or eligibility for licensure)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFY candidates are welcome
• Previous experience in a school environment is highly desirable
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess students’ communication skills using a variety of standardized assessments and observational methods
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students’ unique needs
• Provide both individual and group therapy, targeting speech, language, and communication challenges
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student growth and generalize skills into the classroom environment
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and compliance documentation as required by state and federal guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings, staff professional development sessions, and ongoing district training
